About the Role:
We’re hiring a skilled Telecom Design Engineer to join a fast-growing team delivering UK telecom network rollout projects. This is a great opportunity for an experienced RAN design professional to work on telecom network design and delivery projects and grow within an international engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and update Detailed Design (DD) packages based on survey data, site inputs, and client specifications
- Prepare and review site design drawings — layouts, schematics, GA drawings, and As-Built documentation
- Ensure full compliance with UK operator standards, planning regulations, andHealth & Safety requirements
- Interpret site survey reports and translate them into structured engineering designs
- Collaborate with project engineers, planners, and construction teams to resolve design queries
- Maintain document control and design accuracy throughout the project lifecycle
- Support design approvals, QA, and document control
Must-Have Requirements:
- Must have 8–12 years of hands-on telecom design experience in RAN projects.
- Strong AutoCAD expertise, along with MS Office and telecom documentation tools.
- Must have proven experience in Detailed Design (DD), Redlines, and As-Built documentation.
- Strong understanding of UK telecom rollout processes and operator standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
- Strong document control discipline and attention to detail.
- Good English communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
