About the Role:
Techner is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the T-Mobile FCC Drive Test program in Seattle, Washington. This role requires strong operational execution, vendor management, and program governance. The Senior PM will drive daily execution, maintain reporting cadence, and ensure delivery targets are met while coordinating cross-market activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own daily Go/No-Go coordination and deliver operational status updates (active teams, clusters driven, prior-day completions, cumulative progress, % completion).
- Plan and manage current-month workload execution, including market-level completion targets and team assignments.
- Develop next-month forecasts, including projected clusters, targeted completion dates, and resource needs by market.
- Monitor grid run-rate and drive productivity improvements with Drive Test Coordinators and vendors.
- Enforce drive test policies, procedures, and safety requirements, including compliance tracking.
- Manage redrive scenarios, distinguishing payable vs non-payable work (optimization, missing tests, out-of-grid).
- Provide routine reporting and communication to RBO Regional Managers and market stakeholders, including cluster payout status.
- Evaluate vendor performance by market and recommend vendor assignment changes and corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee scanner/kit inventory and availability, field capacity planning, and one-shift vs two-shift execution needs.
- Coordinate cross-market and cross-region support, including kit and team reallocation to meet program targets.
- Maintain clear reporting on assignments vs completions, risks/issues, mitigation actions, and upcoming milestones.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Project/Program Management experience in telecom delivery.
- Direct experience leading T-Mobile programs (mandatory).
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to present status to senior leadership.
- Strong operational execution mindset, vendor management experience, and structured reporting skills.
- Must be a US Citizen and local to Seattle, WA, USA.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, or related Engineering field (or equivalent).
- Valid PMI Certification (PMP, PgMP) required.
