Role Overview:
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and execution of Telecom projects, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and performance. Your expertise will be crucial in site acceptance, rigging, and conducting audits, as well as in the smooth management of Telecom RF services and defect/incident resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Plan and coordinate Telecom project activities, including site acceptance and Handover Packs (HOPs).
🔹 Conduct Health & Safety and Quality audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
🔹 Prepare and manage Construction Phase Plans (CPP), Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMs), and other project documentation.
🔹 Monitor project progress, manage defects/incidents, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
🔹 Support the PMO and oversee as-built designs to meet project requirements.
🔹 Resolve technical challenges and participate in project closeout activities.
Requirements:
🔹 Must have valid working rights in the UK.
🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
🔹 7+ years of experience in Telecom, with strong project management skills in site acceptance, audits, and defect management.
🔹 Knowledge of CPP/RAMs, PMO functions, and Telecom industry regulations.
🔹 Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
🔹 Familiarity with project management tools and health and safety regulations.
